Cookie Policy.
This page explains what cookies are, which ones Farmacia Vegas uses, why, for how long, and how you can accept, reject or withdraw your consent at any time.
1 · What are cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others collect aggregated usage data that help us improve the experience. Under the AEPD Cookie Guidelines (May 2024) and art. 22 of Spain’s LSSI-CE, we may only install non-essential cookies with your prior, informed and unambiguous consent.
2 · How we use cookies
We keep the set to the strict minimum:
- Technical cookies: essential for the site to work (WordPress session, consent preference).
- Analytics cookies: only if you accept. They measure aggregated visits without personally identifying you.
We do not use behavioural advertising, cross-site marketing or social network cookies.
3 · Categories
Following the AEPD criteria, cookies are classified by:
- Ownership: first-party (managed by Farmacia Vegas) or third-party (managed by another entity, e.g. Google Analytics).
- Duration: session (deleted when the browser closes) or persistent (kept for a defined period).
- Purpose: technical, preferences, analytics, advertising, geolocation, etc. We only use the first two categories.

Note: while the Google Analytics ID is a placeholder (pre-deploy), the _ga* cookies do NOT load even if you accept. The banner informs and consent is recorded; no requests are sent to Google LLC.

5 · Consent (AEPD May 2024)
On your first visit we show a banner with two equally visible options: Accept and Reject. Both close the banner without further friction. If you don’t decide, no non-essential cookie is installed — by default your consent is denied (Google Consent Mode v2 · ES region).
6 · Withdrawal
Your consent is revocable at any time:
- From the floating 🍪 button visible after your first decision.
- From §4.5 of this page.
- By manually deleting the
fv-cookie-consentcookie from your browser.
7 · Consent duration
Your decision is stored for 6 months (well below the AEPD’s recommended 24-month maximum). After that period, the banner reappears to renew your consent.
8 · International transfers
If you accept analytics cookies, Google LLC (based in the United States) may process aggregated browsing data. Google is enrolled in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU Adequacy Decision 2023) and we have executed Standard Contractual Clauses. If you reject, no transfer takes place.
9 · Cookies in forms
Our contact form uses only first-party technical session cookies to prevent fraudulent submissions. It does not integrate reCAPTCHA or other Google services that would load cookies without your prior consent.
10 · Personal data and GDPR
Processing of personal data linked to cookies is governed by our Privacy Policy, which details the legal basis, purposes, retention and your GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, restriction).
11 · Amendments
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-reviewed date at the bottom.
